Jill Mayer Bio
Jill has 30 years of paralegal experience in the specialized area of trusts and estates, as well as real estate transactions and litigation coordination. She is a California Notary Public and a former licensed real estate agent in New Jersey. Her knowledge and skill in assisting with title transfers in the estate planning context, including California mobile home transfers, is exceptional.
Jill obtained her paralegal certification with honors from the American Bar Association-approved Paralegal Studies program at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, New Jersey. She also has an Associates of Applied Science degree with Legal Specialization.
Jill came to the firm in 2014 having worked for estate and trust attorneys in Santa Barbara for 13 years. In addition to supporting two attorneys with estate planning, trust administrations, probate and conservatorship proceedings, litigation and property transfers, Jill also handles our business entity formation and maintenance program.
A most valuable member of the team, Jill works well with clients to establish their estate plans and make necessary updates. Her efficiency and attention to detail ensures that clients’ plans are implemented with ease and clarity.
Jill served on the Board of Directors of PAWS Parks of Santa Ynez Valley, demonstrating her interest in our community and in having a park for dogs to enjoy leash-free play. She enjoys the theatre and traveling with her husband Ray and their dogs in their new RV.
